In a significant step toward enhancing workplace safety, China's first domestically developed intelligent early-warning system for elevated operations has been successfully implemented at the Nanjing North Railway Station construction site, a flagship project under China Railway Construction Group.
The system, entirely developed and manufactured by Changzhou Jinling Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., has demonstrated remarkable stability and effectiveness during its trial phase, receiving strong approval from site managers and safety officials.
Founded in 2023 within the Changzhou Science and Education Town, Jinling Intelligent Technology operates as an applied technology transfer base of Tianjin University's Intelligent Information Technology Research Center. The company specializes in AI-driven safety solutions for high-altitude work environments. Its expert team includes academicians, national-level scholars, and seasoned safety advisors from the Ministry of Emergency Management.
The newly deployed system integrates multiple advanced modules such as smart wearable terminals, spatial hazard detectors, intelligent hooks, and fixed anchor base stations. Key functionalities include real-time alerts for unprotected workers, voice warnings for unsafe behavior, SOS emergency signaling, and remote supervision and intercom capabilities.
A standout feature is its three-tier digital monitoring platform—linking large command screens, PC dashboards, and mobile devices—enabling comprehensive, full-process oversight of high-altitude activities.
By significantly strengthening the real-time monitoring of worker behavior, equipment status, and environmental conditions, the system has drastically reduced operational risks and helped prevent potential accidents. It embodies how technology can fundamentally improve safety—not just as a tool, but as a lifesaving layer of intelligence.
